Is 100 percent goji juice a myth?

Goji juice is made from goji berries or the wolfberries. Nutritionists have found goji berries to be one of the best food supplements as it contains much higher ratio of beta-carotene and vitamin C than oranges, and more iron than what can be found in leafy vegetables such as spinach. Apart from this, goji berries also have trace elements and minerals that help in fighting cancers, and improving immune systems.

Since these berries don’t grow everywhere, they are available in preserved forms such as dried fruits, and juices. Consuming juices is considerably better than taking them in pills or other forms. This is because it improves cellular absorption. However, any juice needs to be consumed when it is fresh, and there can be refrigeration delays. Fresh goji juice is orange in color, but the juice available in the market is closer to coffee brown in color. This is because some sweeteners or fruits of other juices may have been added to goji juice, to give it a palatable flavor. Moreover, a lot of pulp and fruit skin is lost while making these juices. Notwithstanding the fact that 100 percent goji juice is not truly so, it may be taken regularly, as not everything is lost. There are, however, some that do qualify as 100 percent goji juices. These need to be stirred before consuming.
