My father is 90 years old and for his age fairly active. He works out at the gym three times a week and lifts around 15,000 pounds on each visit. He loves working with the weight machines, but when it comes to working out on the bikes or treadmills he dreads them. Consequently, when he goes to play golf he prefers to ride in a cart. Just five years ago he would have considered it a sissy thing to do, but rather than give up golf he now rides.

My grandson is 11 years old. He is full of energy and wants to do everything the big guys do. On a recent trip to Ohio, my father, my husband and my grandson decided to play golf with my aunts and uncles. The combined years of the group of six golfers was 470! My father and the oldest uncle, well in his 80′s and a heart attach survivor, rode in the golf cart. All the others walked. Thankfully, my aunt had this inexpensive golf pull cart. My grandson was barely able to drag the golf bag filled with clubs from the clubhouse to the first tee.

With her suggestion he joined her group and was able to attach his bag to the cart by attaching it to her bag with my husband’s belt. The cart, though inexpensive, did hold up pulling two loaded golf bags through 18 holes of golf. The golf game was the highlight of the trip to Ohio for my father and my grandson. While it was not the highlight of my trip, thanks to this inexpensive golf pull cart, it did make my day. I love it when the ‘boys can be boys’ no matter what their ages. Since then I’ve found a wide selection of golf accessories at TheGolfCollection.com, an online golf store.
